My question is to the Prime Minister. Can the Prime Minister advise the House and the people listening to parliament, the differences between standing aside and resigning in terms of responsibilities, staff, salary and entitlements?

I can advise that for the period in which Senator Sinodinos has stepped aside he will draw no ministerial salary and will have no access to ministerial entitlements.
