I seek leave to move a motion to vary the hours of meeting and routine of business for today.

I move:

That the order of the Senate agreed to on 16 June 2011 relating to the hours of meeting and routine of business for today, be amended as follows:   Paragraph (a), omit '3.30 pm', substitute 'at the ringing of the bells'.   Omit paragraph (b), substitute:

(b)   on the resumption of the Senate meeting, following the ringing of the bells, the routine of business shall be the items specified in standing order 57(1)(a)(iv) to (xi)'.
